Wreaths Across America - 2025 Winners Announced!
Honoring Heroes, Celebrating Community, and Recognizing This Year’s Outstanding Winners
Each December, communities across the nation come together for a powerful and unifying tradition: Wreaths Across America Day. On Saturday, December 13, 2025, more than 388 locations across Pennsylvania will participate in this annual day of remembrance—gathering volunteers of all ages to lay Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our nation’s fallen heroes while saying each veteran’s name aloud. It is a solemn act of gratitude that ensures their service, sacrifice, and legacy are never forgotten.

The Meaning Behind Sponsoring a Wreath
Sponsoring a veteran’s wreath is more than a donation—it’s a personal tribute.
It represents:
- Gratitude for those who served.
- Respect for those who gave everything.
- Commitment to ensuring future generations understand the true cost of freedom.
Every wreath sponsorship directly supports Wreaths Across America’s year-round mission to Remember, Honor, and Teach. These contributions help expand free educational programs, grow volunteer engagement, and ensure that veterans across the country receive the recognition they deserve.
A Friendly Challenge With a Big Impact
Each year, State Trucking Associations across the country take part in a spirited competition to see which state can sponsor the most wreaths. Within Pennsylvania, PMTA’s Chapters also hold their own internal challenge to rally support, raise awareness, and expand the mission's reach.
Last year, Pennsylvania tied with New Jersey for second place nationally, sponsoring 507 wreaths. PMTA’s Philly/DelVal Chapter led the way, contributing 144 wreaths to the effort. Their momentum helped inspire even more participation in 2025—and the results speak for themselves.
ANNOUNCING THE 2025 WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA WINNERS
🏅 Pennsylvania Wins 3rd Place Nationally!
This year, Pennsylvania sponsored 837 wreaths—a remarkable increase of 330 wreaths over last year’s total! This achievement reflects the passionate efforts of PMTA members, local chapters, and supporters across the Commonwealth.
🏆 PMTA’s South Central Chapter Wins the 2025 Chapter Challenge!
With an extraordinary 354 wreaths sponsored, the South Central Chapter takes the top spot—surpassing last year’s chapter winner by 210 wreaths! Their dedication helps ensure hundreds more veterans are remembered and honored this year.
We’d also like to give a big shoutout to Ken Goss of the South Central Chapter, whose enthusiasm really helped drive this year’s effort. Ken’s outreach and encouragement got people excited to participate — even outside his own chapter — and helped make this year’s results something to celebrate. Thanks, Ken, for your passion and teamwork! Until next year...

Whether you sponsored a wreath, spread the word, or volunteered your time, you helped bring comfort to families, gratitude to communities, and recognition to our nation’s heroes.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2025 Wreaths Across America effort.
Your commitment honors the past, strengthens our present, and inspires the future.
